FS11 or FS21 not showing correct soil moisture at -10cm

Possible reasons

• The sensor is not installed far enough into the ground, therefore it measures too much air
• Because of drought the soil has started to crack and the -10cm is no longer sufficiently in contact with the surrounding material
• The chosen calibration profile is not quite right, try another one

Steps to resolve

1. Make sure the sensor is properly installed
   • FS11: until the indicator on the housing
   • FS21: until the white housing material begins
2. Make sure the sensor isn’t surrounded by air pockets
3. Pick another calibration profile to match your expectations
